Nintendo Direct | E3 2021

Hard to believe the Switch is 5 years old already! How’s it doing?

Kazuya in Smash

While not often predicted, this is one that makes a lot of sense and we can expect to see more at an in depth presentation later this month.

Life is Strange

Also no surprise here that the two prior games are coming to the Switch with the promise of the newest one being on the way for the console as well.

Guardians of the Galaxy

This was a surprise too, but it being a cloud version isn’t.

Worms Rumble

Ready for some crazy energy? This wild game is coming to the switch with a exclusive costume to boot!

Astria Ascending

This RPG didn’t personally catch my attention, but it sure does look pretty and if you’re into these types of games, it might be for you.

Two Point Campus

This was just a quick glimpse, but if you love management games, this one might be worth checking out.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania

Super Monkey Ball has an anniversary this year, so getting a remaster only makes sense. For those who love it and those who are curious, this is one to keep an eye on.

Mario Party Superstars

I’m really shocked that we’re getting a whole new game instead of adding to the Mario Party that the switch already has. However, more Mario Party can’t hurt the system. Hopefully this one has more boards than Super Mario Party.

Metroid Dread

Big surprise! This was rumored years ago, but we’re glad to see it back now. We’ve been told that Prime 4 is doing well, but in the meantime, having something like this is good to see. New amiibos too!

Just Dance

You knew it would be here. Here it is. We saw this back with Ubisoft too.

Cruis’n Blast

This was another blink and you’ll miss it showing, but it looks like a lot of fun!

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

Clearly this foreshadows Goku being in smash, right? Either way, DBZ fanns will likely be excited to see this game be available on the go. And with extra content!

Mario Golf Super Rush

Yep, this is coming up quick and everyone is very excited. The biggest boon that we got is that there’s the promise of extra content coming in free updates!

Monster Hunter Stories 2

This one has shown up a lot, but it’s nice to get the reminder. However, we’ve already seen it this E3 in other places.

Warioware: Get it Together

This was rumored but we’re glad to see it. Multiplayer is going to change things up a lot for this rapid microgame collection!

Shin Megami Tensei V

This one is coming so soon! Sooner than I expected. Given it was announced so long ago, it’s good to see that it’s really coming. For real this time!

Everything Danganronpa is coming to the switch and the physical edition of this collection looks absolutely gorgeous! However, being able to buy them separate is great and it’s good to know that I can have these game HD AND portable at the same time.

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Blackwater

I don’t know how many people were asking for this to be ported to the switch, but here it is! We could use a few more big spooky games.

Doom Eternal DLC

Smash and splat! More demon killing goriness is on the switch today!

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2

Good to see that we’ll be able to play these on the go. Feels like they’re just about everywhere now!

Strange Brigade

This one isn’t too interesting to me personally, but if it catches your eye, this colorful shooter might be some fun.

Mario+Rabbids: Sparks of Hope

We already saw this revealed in the Ubisoft presentation, but if you missed it, here it is.

Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp

This one was a big surprise! However, these classics really are suited to come up to the modern age. And they’re SO CUTE! I love the way they updated the look here.

Legend of Zelda Game and Watch

This might be a bit pricey, but they’re really trying to make it worth the cost by packing 4 games in there. It might be too much for me, but I’m sure all you collectors out there are going to love it.

Breath of the Wild 2

This was the big one. I’m sure we’re going to see all sorts of hot takes about what everything we’re seeing means, and I look forward to all of it. Just take a look for yourself. This is amazing! Not until 2022 though.
